Old Trafford
A Theatre of Dreams

The symbol of Manchester United, Old Trafford - The Theatre of Dreams - is now the highest capacity football ground in Britain.

Old Trafford has seen some of the most amazing football matches in history played out on it's turf, as well as hosting some less worthy sports, such as rugby.

Here MUFC GOLD charts it's development and provides a walk down memory lane with photographs from almost every era of the stadium's life.

Today Old Trafford stands as all that is good about all-seater 21st Century stadia but many yearn for the days of the old Stretford End, the Scoreboard End and United Road.

We can take you back to how it looked in those days, as well as take you on a brief tour of the interior, something not often seen by the majority of match going fans but more by the average tourist.
