Mufc News was launched in August 2000. It began as a general fan site but has since evolved into a comprehensive news and results service.
The site contains news reports, match reports, statistics and feature items. Constantly updated, Mufc News brings you the latest events regarding Manchester United as they happen.
Who's Who?
Mufc News is an independant site and is run by Ben Greenwood (aka Bex). Bex works as a copywriter and web designer for a public relations consultancy, based in Sale, Manchester.
A follower of Manchester United for over 20 years, Bex has an in depth knowledge of the club, it's players and staff and what it means to follow the club. He is a club member, as well as a member of IMUSA, the Independant Manchester United Supporters Association.
Mufc News is, however, always on the lookout for talented writers to join the team to write articles, news reports and match reports. Interested parties should email Mufc News using the link on the menu on the left.
Traffic
Mufc News has steadily increased in popularity since its launch. From the all time low of 24 unique hits in its first month online, the site now receives an average of 1500 hits per month.
These figures are only set to increase as the site receives more and more publicity. Mufc News has already featured in the Manchester Metro News, a local newspaper, and FRONT, a national 'lads' magazine.
Search Engines
Mufc News features prominently at the top of a number of search engines, including Yahoo! and Alta Vista.
The site is constantly being submitted to other search engines as deemed appropriate.
